Purpose of the Navigation Panel
The navigation panel allows model users and administrators to navigate the model by listing links to model objects.
Navigation Panel Settings
The navigation panel has two settings: folder view and navigation view. The folder view mimics the folder structure of the underlying model. The navigation view is a configured view to guide users in use of the model.
Navigation Panel Configuration
Folder View Configuration
The folder view is the default view of the navigation panel and there is no configuration required. If a configured navigation view is available, administrators can switch their view to the folder structure using the User Icon menu.
Navigation View Configuration
The navigation view uses either queries or tables based upon the structure of the SystemNavigationTemplate table to create navigation panels within the browser window. See Navigation Panel Configuration Instructions to implement.
