Web App Display Options

The ImpactECS Enterprise Web Application (Web App) uses several ImpactECS objects to control the look/feel of how model objects are displayed on the internet. All examples are from the ToolKitAndWebTemplate, Model Download 1.0007.

Model Requirements

The following objects are required to update the EWA views. If they are not available in your model, the functionality will not work.

Local Factor Display Options

There are several available Local Factor display types in the browser:

Default View

This view shows the local factors as a sub-panel in the top portion of the Cost Object when viewed in the main panel of the website.

Grid View

This view shows the local factors as a table grid and will mimic a Cost Object Routing when viewed in the main panel of the website.

Header Form View

This view shows the local factors the same as the Default View.

None View

This view will not display the local factors when viewed in the website.

Tab Form View

This view shows the local factors a tab, just like the Cost Object Routing when viewed in the main panel of the website.

To create Local Factor Displays, ImpactECS uses the SystemLocalFactorsDisplayType table.

Local Factor Groups

Another way to spruce up the look and feel of the Local Factors is to designate groupings. See Local Factors Group View for instructions.

This option only applies to the Default view of Local Factor Displays.

To create groupings, ImpactECS uses the SystemLocalFactorsGroups table.
